Charles Mules : ウィキペディア英語版 | Charles Mules The Rt Rev Charles Oliver Mules, DD (8 September 1837, Ilminster – 9 October 1927, Nelson, New Zealand) was the third Anglican Bishop of Nelson,〔“Who was Who” 1897-2007 London, A & C Black, 2007 ISBN 978-0-19-954087-7〕 whose Episcopate spanned a 20 year period during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.〔“The Clergy List” London, Kelly’s, 1913〕 He was educated at Cheltenham College and Trinity College, Cambridge,〔(Illustrated London News )〕 and ordained in 1864. After a curacy at Whorlton, County Durham he emigrated to New Zealand to work under the Bishop of Nelson, Andrew Burn Suter. He was Vicar of Brightwater 〔“A History of the English Church in New Zealand” Purchas, HT: Christchurch (NZ) Simpson & Williams Limited,1914〕 then Archdeacon 〔(New Zealand Gazette )〕 of Waimea before succeeding Suter.
